General Dentist
Dr. Sumit Sharma is an experienced and compassionate dentist with an extensive clinical background spanning both India and Canada. He practiced dentistry in India from 2008 to 2019, gaining broad experience across various aspects of dental care. After moving to Canada, he successfully completed the Canadian dental equivalency process in 2023 and has since been practicing dentistry in Vancouver, Canada.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Sharma has served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), providing clinical guidance to dental students. Having personally navigated the dental equivalency pathway, he is also passionate about mentorship and has supported internationally trained and aspiring dentists preparing for dental board and qualifying examinations across Canada and the United States.
Dr. Sharma believes that exceptional dentistry goes beyond treating teeth—it is about building trust, understanding each patient’s individual needs, and creating a comfortable and positive experience. His approach combines extensive clinical experience with personalized attention, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to helping patients feel confident about their oral health and their smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sharma enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with his family and children. He also values giving back to the community and has participated in community service initiatives, using his dental knowledge and experience to help those in need.
